PACKAGING SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM

Florescence holds a deep sense of moral accountability for the sustainability of our operations. Our packaging sustainability program creates a closed-loop reuse/recycling system that minimizes environmental disturbance. This program incentivizes customers to return their empty Florescence containers in exchange for compensation. Please see the information presented below to learn more about our packaging sustainability program and how you can participate.

HOW IT WORKS

How to return your empty, used Florescence glass jars and preroll tubes:

1. STEP ONE

  • Take home and enjoy your favorite Florescence cannabis products.

2. STEP TWO

  • Once you have used your cannabis products, be sure to clean the empty jars and preroll tubes with warm water if necessary. Please do not clean the packaging with any chemicals or cleaning solutions.

  • Inspect the empty containers for cracks or damage. Unfortunately, we cannot accept glass packaging with any cracks or chips.

3. STEP THREE

  • Bring your empty packaging to a licensed cannabis dispensary that sells Florescence products and receive $0.10 of store credit or cash per container.

  • Please be sure to return both the container’s glass body and metal lid.

4. STEP FOUR

  • Your returned empty Florescence packaging will be given a new life through our packaging sustainability program!

WHAT HAPPPENS TO RETURNED PACKAGING?

Once you return your empty Florescence packaging, it is then retrieved and transported to the Florescence packaging facility.

Here, we conduct an additional inspection for damage and ensure child-resistant mechanisms function properly.

Afterward, the jars and tubes are thoroughly cleaned using a gentle, non-hazardous solution.

Once cleaned, the packaging is sanitized and disinfected with exposure to UV lighting.

Finally, your empty packaging begins its new life as it’s filled with fresh Florescence cannabis.

And that concludes our closed-loop packaging sustainability program!
