YOUR CANNABIS, FROM SEED TO SALE
We allocate great effort and pride in upholding the discipline and processes of cultivating quality flower, from seed to sale. We value transparency and encourage everyone to browse the content below and learn more about how our cannabis is cultivated, treated, handled, and packaged.
CULTIVATION PRACTICES
-
Florescence utilizes 100% natural and organic soil. This establishes a thriving ecosystem for each plant to reap benefits from, ultimately contributing to the taste, aroma, and overall quality of your cannabis flower.
-
We take great care of our plants and guarantee that all additives we introduce to plants are essential. We supply our cannabis plants with top-rated nutrients, beneficial fungi, beneficial bacteria, and proprietary teas.
Florescence employs a range of pest management strategies, utilizing primarily natural and organic methods and approved pest management additives only as deemed necessary.
-
Florescence strictly utilizes reverse osmosis filtered water for all plant needs. The use of reverse osmosis filtered water compared to well water ensures that no contaminants are being introduced to our plants, including, but not limited to, heavy metals, radionuclides, fluoride, microorganisms, and more.
-
All cannabis cultivated here is produced indoors, allowing for a highly controlled and sophisticated environment.
We ensure that all environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, temperature, humidity, CO2, air circulation, VPD, and DLI, are optimal for cannabis cultivation. This minimizes the risk of your flower experiencing contamination via pests, fungal infections, harmful microbes, and so on.
-
Florescence takes the practice of identifying superior plant genetics very seriously. After all, even the most skilled cultivators cannot produce quality without exceptional genetics. Therefore, we have given extreme thought to each cultivar we grow, ensuring they are visually breathtaking, comfortably potent, and yielding an exemplary psychoactive experience.
-
Florescence cultivates flower that is truly unique, found nowhere else in the world.
Our dedication to excellence and exclusivity starts with a thorough search for the perfect phenotypes (traits). A phenotype hunt is a meticulous process that involves growing hundreds of seeds to pinpoint plants exhibiting the finest characteristics, including potency, flavor, and aroma. Exceptional specimens are chosen for cloning, ensuring the preservation of their superior genetic makeup. Through this systematic process, we strive to deliver premium cultivars selected to meet the preferences of our discerning customers.

The potency and quality of cannabis flower are highly influenced by the exact time plants are harvested. Furthermore, Florescence ensures that each flower is harvested at the perfect moment, resulting in mature, dense, and flavorful trichomes.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
-
All flower within the Florescence facility is placed in highly regulated environmental conditions to preserve the quality and freshness of plant matter. More specifically, all flower is held under 62% relative humidity and 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit. These particular conditions prevent mold growth while retaining adequate moisture within the flowers.
-
Proper packaging is crucial to maintaining connoisseur-grade standards.
Opaque glass jars and pre-roll tubes:
Glass is, without debate, the best possible storage material for cannabis. Glass allows for generally cooler interior conditions, retains moisture, and trichomes (structures coating/within cannabis flower which hold terpenes and cannabinoids) are not as adhesive to glass compared to plastic.
To further preserve and protect our quality, our glass packaging is coated in a matte-black finish, creating a barrier that is impenetrable to light, minimizing photosensitive effects.
Humidity packs:
Each eighth jar containing raw cannabis flower is accompanied by a 62% humidity pack, guaranteeing sufficient moisture retention. Preservation of moisture allows for cleaner smoke and an incredibly smooth hit.
Foam-lined caps and tamper seals:
Each jar and pre-roll tube comes with a child-resistant, pressure-sensitive foam-lined cap that ensures an air-tight seal, keeping your flower and joints fresh.
Before capping products for sale, a tamper seal is placed on the lip of each jar and pre-roll tube. This tamper seal serves as an indication of any tampering with the product while creating an additional air-tight seal until broken.
Certificate of analysis label:
A brief certificate of analysis label, alongside batch-specific information, is attached to each product for your convenience.
-
Although commonly overlooked, the type of paper used to create a joint significantly influences the taste and harshness of smoke.
We have chosen to make our prerolls using RAW Black papers, one of the thinnest artisan papers on the market. These papers have a fascinating origin, as each paper is produced in the Benimarfull region of Spain. However, this region of Spain is home to dry Valencian winds, which tune humidity to an optimal level for paper production and storage.
-
You may notice that our flower is fresh, spongy, sticky, and elastic, unlike other flower on the market that tends to be dry, brittle, crude, or even wet.
Numerous factors contribute to the high-quality composition of our cannabis flower:
Optimal humidity and temperature - All of our cannabis is stored under ideal environmental conditions to promote and preserve product freshness.
Optimal storage material - Our cannabis flower never touches any material that may compromise quality, especially plastic.
Handling flower - Our cannabis flower is handled with extreme delicacy to prevent damage to plant material, exterior trichomes, and flower structure.
Small batch production - Florescence produces cannabis in relatively small batches compared to high-volume facilities. This allows our staff to care for each plant and every single individual bud.
Short storage period - Due to our exclusively limited supply and overwhelming demand, our flower is stored for a very brief period between curing and sale, meaning all of our cannabis is fresh and recently harvested.
HANDLING PRACTICES
-
At Florescence, all flower is handled under exceptionally rigid, hygienic operational parameters.
Flower is NEVER to come in contact with plastic.
Flower is NEVER to come in any contact with surfaces apart from food-grade stainless steel.
Employees ALWAYS wear disposable food-safe nitrile gloves.
Flower is handled in a regulated environment made hygienic using clean room technologies.
-
Trimming is the practice of removing all leaves from around the cannabis flower, creating a uniform, well-groomed inflorescence. Most cannabis cultivators utilize extremely harsh trimming techniques, such as bladed machinery that does extensive damage to the flower. Here at Florescence, we ensure that our trimming process does not sacrifice quality in the slightest. All of our flower is manually hand-trimmed using gentle equipment, meaning bud structure, trichome quantity, texture, and overall quality are entirely preserved for your enjoyment.
-
Drying and curing is crucial for maximizing quality.
Drying cannabis flower:
Once cannabis flower is harvested, the next step is to adequately dry the plant matter, extracting moisture content and sweating the buds of any residing macro/micronutrients. Our flower is given an extremely slow dry on the vine to enhance terpene expression, taste, as well as aroma and to avoid over-drying.
Curing cannabis flower:
Curing cannabis flower is a process that can best be equated to the aging of fine wine. Curing involves tuning flower moisture to ideal levels while allowing for remaining plant sugars and enzymes to adequately decay, further enhancing the taste and aroma of the end product. All of our flower is cured for a minimum of one-two months before packaging and sale.
The final result of our slow dry and extensive curing process is an extremely potent, flavorful, formidably fragrant, smooth-burning, spongy, high-quality cannabis flower.
SANITIZATION PRACTICES
-
Hygiene management is crucial to our commitment to quality. Adopting and implementing GAP (Good Agricultural Practices,) Florescence has detailed sanitization and hygienic procedures in place to ensure the safety and quality of our product.
-
Sanitization, in any and every situation, is inherently important to us as cultivators for various reasons, one of the largest being our commitment to producing and delivering a high-quality, safe product.
At any point involving handling cannabis flower, the following sanitization practices are habitually upheld:
All employees are held to rigorous hygienic expectations while within the facility, especially in areas to which flower is exposed.
All employees must be gloved while working with flower.
